I am involved with C.H.A.N.C.E. because this organization affords people the opportunity to realize life is not about finding oneself, but more about creating oneself. A chance is a defining moment in ones life – a moment when it all comes together. It is at this moment a person has an opportunity to prove every person who doubts wrong and strengthen the faith of those who believe. Nothing is stronger then the human spirit and nothing drives people more the simple feeling of hope. I created C.H.A.N.C.E. because it turns that opportunity into reality.

I believe that life is a constant stream of fortunate events. Positive people lead happy, productive lives and have the ability to influence the lives of others. We need to live with the notion that we can take our experiences and strengths and impact someone who has been given different strengths. That synergy is what being given a chance is all about. This is why I’m involved with this project. Everybody is given a chance at some point in their life. It’s up to them to do something with it once it is given. The most important thing about being given a chance is having the fortitude to see it through.

You are able to adjust to things in life- sometimes you have to work a little harder than other times. Everyone has a story, but it’s really about persevering through different things, and you never know where your blessings are going to come from.
“Giving a chance” – To give a chance is not a hand-out, it’s an opportunity for growth. This vision is starting in our own community, and will soon better the world one step at a time.
